There were seven Cameron products inside the Millennium Dome celebrating the year 2000. These included four “X-plorites” – multicoloured, spaceship-shaped, helium-filled “bugs” that fly round inside the huge tented structure using gps and radio control for accurate positioning.
The globe is an air-inflated sphere which slowly rotates on its single supporting axis. It was often used as the backdrop for news programmes. Other items included a flying trapeze attached to a balloon and a piece of the Cameron balloon that made the first non-stop balloon flight around the world.
